Dalston

It was destiny. From teenagers hanging out with their shared passion for clothing and design in the 80’s in Auckland, to the obligatory OE to London, fate always seemed to throw Jules and Monique into the same place at the same time over the years. They resolved that when the time was right, they would open a shop together. Our values support our commitment to open, honest and respectful relationships with our customers, staff, suppliers, and manufacturers. Dalston is a small team, and we value the unique skills our team members bring to work. We provide a safe and inclusive workplace, where people feel empowered to do great work and share their creativity. We pay our staff, at the minimum, the NZ living wage.

Massive Theatre Company

Founded in 1991, Massive Theatre Company is a professional theatre company based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa. Our wharenui home-base in Grey Lynn has a large studio space, meeting and office spaces, full kitchen and accessible bathroom facilities. We regularly host theatre workshops and rehearsals in our space, and have an open door policy that invites the public to drop in when we're open and observe what we do. We offer our space out to those in the creative industry and are happy to kōrero with our local community members who may wish to use it as a space for meetings, workshops and classes. Feel free to get in touch and pop by for a visit.

Ozone Coffee Roasters

We are coffee roasters and hospitality experts. We have an all day, every day eatery and roastery in Grey Lynn and everyone is welcome to enjoy our space - so come hungry and leave happy. Working directly with responsible coffee producers, we source the very best coffee in the very best way. We build relationships with coffee producers that ensures a more sustainable future for them, their communities and the coffee that we all love.

Wool Revolution Studio

Wool Revolution Studio is a creative textile studio right here in Grey Lynn, led by internationally recognised fashion designer Liz Mitchell MNZM. Guided by a simple but powerful vision — Farm, Fleece, Fashion, Future — we're on a mission to bring New Zealand's extraordinarily strong wool back into everyday life. Liz has been a Campaign for Wool New Zealand Ambassador since 2018, championing the value of our strong wool both locally and on the world stage. We run hands-on workshops in wet felting, needle felting and weaving for all skill levels, support artists, designers, educators and students, and provide access to specialist textile knowledge and machinery you won't find anywhere else. We develop wool-based products and prototypes, and passionately advocate for natural fibres as a real, beautiful alternative to planet-harming synthetics. Whether you want to try a workshop, collaborate on a project, or simply discover what wool can do — come find us. Explore what's on at woolrevolutionstudio.org.
