From teenagers hanging out with their shared passion for clothing and design in the 80’s in Auckland, to the obligatory OE to London, fate always seemed to throw Jules and Monique into the same place at the same time over the years. They resolved that when the time was right, they would open a shop together. Our values support our commitment to open, honest and respectful relationships with our customers, staff, suppliers, and manufacturers. Dalston is a small team, and we value the unique skills our team members bring to work. We provide a safe and inclusive workplace, where people feel empowered to do great work and share their creativity. We pay our staff, at the minimum, the NZ living wage.

Located at 196 Great North Road, Liz and her team welcome you to browse ready-to-wear collections, explore bespoke tailoring, and discover beautiful bridal designs, all crafted from New Zealand wool and natural fibres. With over 30 years of couture expertise and garments held in the permanent collection of Te Papa Tongarewa, this is a truly special local destination. Designing, hand cutting + finishing is done in house at the label workrooms . We have a dedicated team of talented sewers and image makers along with our knowledgeable, passionate and friendly retail team. We also stock a small range of internationally sourced footwear + cosmetics.
